Our Story...

George Rogers Clark High School is a thriving high school located in the heart of the Central Kentucky Bluegrass.  As the only public high school in Clark County, Kentucky, GRCHS has an annual enrollment in grades 9-12 of between 1,600 and 1,700 students.

    KHEAA Parent Night

    GRC hosted an evening for senior parents earlier this month. Joplin Rice, KHEAA Representative, presented information on the college process. Parents and students were able to make themselves FAFSA ID’s so they will be able to complete the application in December.

    The Road Show is an outreach program of the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA). It travels the state so Kentuckians can learn about their college and technical school options.

    Equipped with wireless Internet access, the Road Show and its on-board counselor. Juniors and seniors had the opportunity to learn resources, career planning and career options.

    Why Apply Day

    Welcome back, Cardinals! Before the break, our counseling department held their annual Why Apply Day. All seniors chose a road of college, military, workforce, short training programs, or if they were undecided. Resources were then provided to help them navigate their after high school planning. Approximately 81 college applications were submitted!
